Extended Drop for COVID Terms

In order to provide additional support to students enrolled during COVID-19 impacted terms (spring 2020, summer 2020, fall 2020, spring 2021, and summer 2021), the University is providing an extended drop opportunity for students. Prior to submitting a drop request, students should review the campus-wide extended drop and college drop requirements listed below.

Campus-Wide Extended Drop Requirements

  • Undergraduate courses only (Graduate School has a grade forgiveness policy in place).
  • Only available to students who have not completed their undergraduate degree.
  • Available on per-course basis (in addition to the current full-semester retroactive withdraw)
  • Only applicable to courses taken Spring 2020, Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021.
  • Not available for courses failed due to academic dishonesty.
