General Academic fund spaces are classroom and computer labs managed and controlled by the Office of the Registrar.
How to Submit Requests
To ensure timely processing, UCCS Departments and Offices MUST submit separate reservation requests based on both the academic term and the timeframe that each request occurs.
Step 1: Separate initial request(s) by the academic term:
- Spring
- Summer
- Fall
Step 2: Within each term, further breakdown request(s) based on which academic scheduling category the date(s) falls under and submit each request separately:
- Pre-Term session
- Weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
- Monday–Friday (Post-Census)
***Pre-Term session date ranges and official Census dates are available on the Academic Calendar for each term.***
Step 3: Run required facility search in CU-SIS to identify classroom availability and include result preferences on each form submission (see Required Room Search in CU-SIS section).
Things to Notes:
- All reservation requests are considered tentative until official confirmation from the Curriculum Management team.
- Academic courses always take priority over ad hoc event reservations.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee that a general academic classroom will be reserved.
- All reservations are subject to classroom availability and University priorities.
***Reservation requests that are submitted incorrectly or are incomplete may need to be resubmitted in their entirety.***
Required Room Search in CU-SIS
A search for available classrooms in CU-SIS (Campus Solutions) is required prior to submitting a General Academic Classroom Request Form.
UCCS Departments and Offices should use the search results to identify preferred classroom options for their meeting or event.
Follow the step-by-step guide, Searching for an Available Facility, to locate available general academic classrooms in CU-SIS.
